AQNML Awards

The AQNML Awards purpose is to recognise Outstanding Contribution of Nursing and Midwifery Leaders in Queensland.  The Awards are all presented at the AQNML Annual Conference.  Winners of the Awards are entered into the AQNML Awards Hall of Fame.

AQNML EMERGING
NURSING / MIDWIFERY LEADER AWARD

The AQNML Emerging Nurse Leader Award honours and recognises an Emerging Nurse Leader from within the profession.

This Award identifies the commitment of an individual to Nursing or Midwifery Leadership through a research project, innovative program, introduction of change management or a significant contribution to new or existing nursing leadership knowledge.

The Award will be presented at the Annual Conference to an individual who has been nominated by their peers as the Emerging Nurse/Midwife Leader for the preceding year.

The first prize consists of $1000 Scholarship and one (1) year membership to AQNML.

The Award will be judged on merit by the AQNML Executive Committee.

AQNML OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN NURSING / MIDWIFERY AWARD
 

The AQNML Outstanding Achievement in Nursing or Midwifery Award honours and recognises an Outstanding Achievement made by a Nurse or Midwife Leader from within the professions.

 

This Award acknowledges the significant commitment of an individual to nursing/midwifery leadership through a research project, innovative program, introduction of change management, or a significant contribution to nursing/midwifery leadership.

 

The Award will be presented at the Annual Conference to an individual who has been nominated by their peers for the Outstanding Achievement in Nursing or Midwifery Award for the preceding year.

 

Shortlisted Award nominees (maximum two (2)) will be offered complimentary Thursday (Day One) registration and Awards Dinner attendance for the AQNML Conference.  If already registered when nominee shortlisted, a refund will be offered.

 

The successful individual will also receive a one (1) year membership to AQNML and recognition as an Outstanding Nurse/Midwife Leader within Queensland.
