About the Presentation

Rise of the 'INTRAPRENURSE'

Intrapreneurs are the people who are the opportunity finders, the change drivers and the innovators who are essential to any organisation wanting to be robust and relevant into the future. They are the ones who translate ideas into outcomes, solve problems in new ways and challenge the status quo to shift business-as-usual practices that limit the effectiveness of their teams and organisation. Intrapreneurialism is emerging as the number one workplace skill for 2020.

In a time when disruption is the new normal, the health sector needs a critical mass of forward-thinking intrapreneurs i.e. INTRAPRENURSES who are committed to innovative patient care. This presentation identifies ways to build intrapreneurial skills.

As we transition into a post-COVID world, the role of intrapreneurs will be more important than ever as workplaces navigate disruption and uncertainty.

What differentiates Dr. Irena is that she has the depth of academic knowledge, the skills of an educator, combined with the real-world experience of an entrepreneur. She holds a PhD in complex, creative problem-solving and a Master’s degree in Adult Education. Her work focuses on:

  • Liberating leaders and team members whose potential is currently underutilised
